Both girls are sick again. They have fevers, coughs and sore throats. Since they are not feeling well, I told them that I would make them “hospital soup.” Katie was really excited about that and started questioning me right away about how long it would take.
Me- “It will be just a few minutes.”
Katie demands- "How many? Count them with your fingers."
I proceed to show her five fingers. It was taking a bit longer than that for the broth to cool off enough for them and Katie once again began demonstrating her impatience.
Katie- "How much longer? Is it done yet? Can we have it now?"
While talking she was also bouncing around by her sleeping baby sister. I told her nicely to move away from the baby but she ignored me and continued bouncing. Trying to salvage the peace of the napping baby, I said, "Katie, knock it off before you wake up the baby!" And added without thinking, "Or there will be NO SOUP FOR YOU!"

Bad mom...a true soup nazi. Did the threat of deprivation work?
LOL! That's too funny :) Sorry to hear their sick....we're sick over here too :(
Hope we all recover soon!
Found you through blogrush :)
And I wouldn't be surprised if the quick-witted Katie followed that with an "impression" of you, the soup Nazi or Al Pacino. lol
