You Know, You're Only as Old as You Feel...Or Whatever Lie You Settle On

Today Claire was curious about everyone's ages. She wanted to know how old her dad is and we settled on somewhere in the neighborhood of one hundred and five.

Claire- "So, how old are you?"

Me, lying- "Well Claire, I'm thirty-seven."

Katie picks up on the lie- "No, you're not. You're thirty-eight."

Me- "Oh, that's right. Well, let's just go with I'm in my 30's."

Claire- "What does that mean, you're in your 30's?"

Me- "You know, like when you're a teenager you're in your teens. Then you're in your 20's and 30's."

Claire- "Oh. I'm in my 6's."

Katie- "And I'm in my 5's!"

Wow, Katie's pretty perceptive for only being in her fives. Can't wait to see how she is in her eights.

Thats a unique way of looking at age! My nephew and I were watching tv the other day and this commcercial for this show Celebrity Circus came on ...it was so funny! and ofcourse, these grown men a nd women were doing cracy acrobatic stuff and my nephew would not stop unless i tried to copy them! needless to say...the rest of my evening was entertaining followed by pain! I wish I had his young body!

the show looks super funny..its on NBC on June 11th at 9:30 central if anyone wants to check it out..however..if yoru kids our as perseptive as mine goodluck!
