Show and Tell

Sundays at my house usually involve some preparations for school the following day. It would seem like there wouldn’t be much homework for kindergarten but things have changed. My five-year old usually has a backpack full of work that needs to be turned in on Monday.

So, yesterday we were working on getting her caught up for the school week. She was concerned about what to take for “Show and Tell.” After thinking it through, she made a trip upstairs. Her next stop must have been her teenage brother’s room. I didn’t know what she was up to until her dad informed me that she was stuffing her brother’s underwear in with her homework. Then he said,” The bad news is that I think she has yours too.”

I’ll be strip searching that kid before school from now on.

ROFL! We know what she was going to "show" but I wonder what she was going to "tell"? LOL!
