Turning Japanese (Well, Chinese)

I was talking to my sister today and the subject of my son’s trip to China last summer came up. That was last year when she had a psychotic break or what we like to call “one of her crazy vacations.”

When I mentioned the China trip she said, “Oh, yeah. That was back when I thought you were talking in code and that meant that my kid was going to be Chinese.” She laughs about that now but it was not funny at the time.

The scary thing is that she really thought that. No kidding.
