What's in a Name?

I received the new provider directory for our health insurance plan in the mail yesterday. Since our family doctor was not listed, I needed to pick a pediatrician for the kids. There are two listed in our area, both female. The first names are Debra and Ginger. Not knowing anything about them other than names, I went ahead and decided on Debra. After all, with everything else being equal, would you pick the one with the regular name or the stripper name?

I imagine Ginger’s parents must be terribly proud to have a daughter that is a doctor. Because, honestly, they couldn’t have had real high hopes when they decided on the name.
